FAQ

Questions about Plant Disease Identifier

Can it tell what's wrong with my plant?

Diagnose mode suggests possible diseases from a photo of the affected leaves, with tips on treatment. It's a first step, not a lab test; for crops or serious cases, check with a local garden centre or agricultural extension service.

Does it remind me to water my plants?

Yes. Saved plants get care reminders for watering, fertilising and other tasks.

Can I eat a plant or mushroom it identifies?

Never eat a plant or mushroom based only on an app's identification. Many edible species have toxic look-alikes.

Is Plant Disease Identifier free?

Plant Disease Identifier is free to download. Some features need a Pro subscription; current prices are shown on the App Store page.

Plant Disease Identifier - PDI runs on iPhone with iOS 15.1 or later.
