Meomy AI Terms of Use
These terms apply to Meomy AI, provided by Alicsystems Information Technology Limited (Alic Systems, “we”). Please read them together with the Meomy Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
App license and eligibility
For downloads from the Apple App Store, the app license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace rights or obligations that cannot be changed under applicable law or Apple’s terms. You must be at least 13 and have any permission required from a parent or guardian or under local law.
Study features and AI results
Meomy helps you turn your own materials into notes, quizzes, flashcards and other study tools, solve questions and practice explaining concepts. AI results may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Check important answers against your source material and qualified guidance. Meomy does not guarantee grades, exam results, learning outcomes or a particular processing time. Study content is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Your content and responsible use
- You retain your rights in material you upload. You give us the permission needed to process it and provide the features you request, including use of the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload documents, photographs and recordings, including permission to record other people where required.
- Follow your school or institution’s academic-integrity rules. Do not use Meomy for unauthorized assistance during an exam or to misrepresent another person’s work as your own.
- Do not submit unlawful or abusive content, infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights, interfere with the service, evade usage limits or attempt unauthorized access.
Free access and Meomy Pro
Meomy offers limited free access. Some features and additional usage require Meomy Pro. Current allowances, available plans, subscription duration, price and any eligible trial are shown in the app before purchase. Prices and offers can vary by storefront. We may change future offerings while respecting existing purchase terms and applicable law.
App Store subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date shown by Apple. Any free trial converts to its disclosed paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals and normally preserves access until the current paid period ends, subject to Apple’s terms. Deleting Meomy or requesting data deletion does not cancel a subscription.
To recover eligible purchases, use Restore purchases in Meomy with the Apple Account used to buy them. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot promise a refund or override Apple’s purchasing decisions.
Local storage and service availability
Your study library is stored locally. Keep your own copies of important source materials; the service does not promise a synchronized library or permanent cloud backup. Online AI features require a network connection. Processing may fail or be interrupted, and features or providers may change. We may limit or suspend misuse of the service and will respect applicable consumer rights when making material changes.
Our intellectual property
The Meomy software, branding and website belong to Alic Systems or their licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of them. AI output may not be unique, and you are responsible for checking your rights and obligations before relying on or sharing it.
Responsibility and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that AI results are correct or that the service will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent such exclusion is lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a consumer guarantee, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes, privacy and support
